We love food and we love our hometown Akureyri!
Our passion is to introduce our amazing city and it's delicious food to travellers visiting Iceland in the most fun way possible.
In 2014, our sister tour, the Reykjavik Food Walk, was born. Since then, the Reykjavík Food Walk has welcomed over 100,000+ guests on their delicious tour which is today the highest rated food tour in the world on TripAdvisor (Over 13,000+ 5 star reviews!). The founder of our Akureyri Food, Dagur, has been a vital part of the team in Reykjavík for many years and now wants to chase his dream of making his own tour in the north of Iceland: The Akureyri Food Walk.
We truly believe that our foodie experience is one of the best thing to do while in Akureyri. It's a fantastic way to get your bearings, learn fun facts and stories about Iceland and it's culture and to get recommendations and tips on where the locals of Iceland go.
It's is a small group experience with limited tickets to each departure so we recommend securing your spots with as much notice as possible.
